As if captured from a beautiful oil painting of the skies, this truly stunning stone is one of the most uncommon and unique we have come across! When glancing into its inclusions, you get the sense that you are laying in an open field of grass, staring into the sky. Just as if we were children, struck with awe, we ask ourselves, “what shapes and symbols do I see in the clouds?”. Plume Agates form in hydrothermal environments, where hot, silica-rich fluid circulates inside of volcanic rocks. The “plume-like” inclusions are finally formed when minerals in the hydrothermal fluids begin to recrystallize, leaving you with an almost active and flowing structure inside of the stone. As with almost all types of agate, the Sky Plume Agate has the keen ability to stabilize and ground the energies around it. In addition to providing a sense of stability, Sky Plume Agate can soothe our nervous system and bring calm and clarity to our thought process, allowing us to collect ourselves and take a step back when the world begins to overwhelm us.
