Regardless, this Harvest Gourd Pendant provides the feelings of happiness and celebration for the bounty of blessings we have received during the seasons. The symbol of the Gourd, which is highly scared throughout several cultures and regions of the world, is commonly associated with prosperity and good fortune, and are diligently placed at offering sites as a token of honorary respect. These “tokens of the harvest” allow us to find harmony within nature, bridging our spirit into the entrances of other worlds. Gourds can be hung above doorways to provide protection, or carried with the practitioner to guard against negative and energy-devouring entities. While combining the symbol of the Gourd with the energy of Fluorite, we worked to create a talisman that embodies only positive affirming qualities, crafted to guide the bearer towards finding beauty, celebration, and meaning in all experience. The carved Fluorite you find shaped into the Gourd was hand-selected for its color and inclusions. (Please know that it is quite normal to find small inclusions or internal cracks within the body of a Fluorite crystal.) Fluorite is the practitioner’s best tool for energetically cleansing everything it surrounds, especially clearing away confusion after moments of intense debate or conversation. In addition, Fluorite can take chaotic and confusing thoughts or ideas and turn them into a well-prepared and organized form. Green Fluorite in specific works to heal the Heart Chakra, seamlessly connecting the emotions of the heart and the thoughts of the mind into one. In our personal practice, we work with Fluorite to calm the worried thoughts of the mind and relax the constant need to worry about the future.
